A Halloween Treat

Long ago..this holiday came...
So children of all ages...would be made to scream
Knock on each door...and say Trick or Treat
And hope they have something there good to eat
Slowly the door might open and creek
Holding our breathe , affraid to speak.
Out of the dark, these words you might hear
Oh...what a great costume...My dear !

He he he he he he he he !!!!!

Oct 31st...the night to howl
wolves and vampires,
show up with a smiles.
Now remember to ask...
Who goes there... you say
On this chilly night ...of weird dismay

S. Caldwell 2008
Halloween...it speaks to us...
in frightful screams and moans
Dark and gloomy....night it is
As we roam the street alone
